Shipping policy

At ElixSea Wines, we are committed to ensuring your wine reaches you safely and promptly. Please review our shipping policy carefully to understand the delivery timelines and requirements for orders within the European Union and the USA.

European Union (EU) Shipments

  • Dispatch Time: Orders are dispatched within 2 working days.
  • Delivery Time: Shipping typically takes 3-5 working days from dispatch.
  • Courier Service: GLS will provide tracking details to keep you updated on your shipment's progress.

USA Shipments

  • Dispatch Schedule:
    • We dispatch orders to the USA once a week on Tuesday.
    • Orders received before 9:00 AM on Tuesday will be shipped the same day.
    • Orders received after 9:00 AM on Tuesday will be shipped the following week.
  • Delivery Time: Shipping can take up to 20-25 working days, depending on the US customs process. This is a multi-stage process with multiple tracking numbers.
    • Tracking Details: UPS will send you the primary tracking number once your package is in the USA.
  • Delivery Requirements:
    • The courier will require a signature from an adult upon delivery.
    • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present at the shipping address during delivery.
    • UPS will make two delivery attempts. If no one is available:
      • The package will either be returned to Europe (shipping charges o refund applicable).
      • Alternatively, a new delivery attempt can be requested for an additional €42 surcharge.
